Authority — who are you listening to?
“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.”
Shepherd’s Note
When we were children, we believed what our parents said because we trusted them. As adults, we are bombarded by a thousand voices, each claiming to know the truth. The Shepherd’s note here is a question worth sitting with: Who are you listening to? If you are listening to the Shepherd, you will hear a voice that is gentle, truthful, and always leading you toward life. If you are listening to fear, shame, or the world, you will hear a voice that is harsh, confusing, and always pulling you away from peace.
