I Am, Your Father
GOD is the great I Am, he is also my Father, or Abba. Immanent and transcendent. Of the greatest heights and intimately personal. I Am and Abba are two important concepts. GOD is both for us.
He reveals His eternal, self-existent, and unchanging nature to Moses at the burning bush in Exodus 3:14.
“God said to Moses, ‘I AM WHO I AM.’ And he said, ‘Say this to the people of Israel: “I AM has sent me to you.”
“The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, ‘Abba, Father.’”
