Source
While bits of wisdom can be found in various places, there is only one source, and only One that you should follow.
“Simon Peter answered him, ‘Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.’”
Shepherd’s Note
Peter's words in John 6 come at a moment when many disciples are walking away, and Jesus asks the Twelve if they want to leave too. Peter's answer is not that he understands everything. It is that he knows where life is. To whom shall we go? Scattered wisdom can be found in many places, and we can receive what is true wherever GOD lets it surface, but there is only one voice that gives eternal life. Stay with that Source. When other voices compete, let Jesus have the final word.
