Seasoned

Seasons — seasoned, seasoning. Everything in its time.

“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.”
— Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NIV)

Ecclesiastes 3 opens with a sentence that can steady a restless heart: for everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven. A season is not a life sentence. Winter feels permanent while you are in it, but it has never once kept spring from coming. Seasons do not only pass over us; they season us. Time in GOD's hands adds depth and flavor that comfort never could. If this is a hard season, do not ask it to be a different one. Ask what GOD is growing in you while it lasts.
