More Than You Think You Can
More — you can do more than you think you can.
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Shepherd’s Note
Philippians 4 is often quoted as if it promised superpowers, but Paul wrote it from prison, about learning contentment with much and with little. The strength Christ gives is strength for the assignment in front of you, the hard conversation, the long recovery, the ordinary Tuesday that still feels like too much. That is why "more than you think you can" is not hype. It is arithmetic done by grace. You bring what you have, which feels like not enough. He brings His strength, which has never once run out. Between the two, the thing gets done, and you look back surprised at who carried you.
