Guest Post: 5 Ways to Write a Stellar Landing Page that Converts Readers

When was the last time you wrote your landing page? How about the last time you hired someone to write it for you?

Were you happy with the outcome? Was the process uncomplicated or did it take forever? Did your people SIGN UP?

Landing pages are essentially sales pages which means you have only a few seconds to capture someone's attention long enough to read what you have to offer, who it's for, and how it can improve their lives.

When it comes to writing landing pages, many entrepreneurs and coaches are clueless about how to draw people in and create high conversions with their words.

 Add in the fact that readers only consume 20% of the content on a page, gives even more reason to make every word count.

1️⃣ Get to the struggle upfront. What is your ideal person grappling with? The solution to the struggle should be evident in the title of your program, service, etc.

How to Go From Concept to Publish With Ease

2️⃣ Inject the backstory that lends itself to answer the question, “What makes you THE expert on this topic?”

For example, if you’re writing a Sales Page to promote your program for How To Generate 10x Leads on LinkedIn, share what your experience was like BEFORE: what was your biggest struggle? How did you feel? How did it impact you? 86% of consumers say that authenticity is key when it comes to deciding what brands they trust and support.

3️⃣ Follow up with the outcome or transformation that occurred in your life AFTER figuring it out! What finally worked? How did you discover it and what's it like to live the reality that you have now?

4️⃣ Provide social proof by sharing screenshots, texts, videos or other forms of testimonials and love notes from your happy clients! Be specific in the outcomes that working with you has produced. Paint a clear picture of what’s POSSIBLE on the other side of your offer.

5️⃣ Give a clear Call to Action with a button that says, “Access Now” or “Yes, Please!” Or “Download Here.”

By implementing these tips with consistency, over time you will see a difference in how others react to your messaging - which will be by taking action!
